Day 1 :

Moshi – Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubwa Camp

After breakfast, drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate (2,100m) for registration. Begin your hike through dense rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,750m). Spot colobus monkeys and enjoy your first night in the mountain wilderness.

Day 2 :

Mti Mkubwa – Shira 1 Camp

Trek out of the forest into the heather and moorland zone, with incredible views of Shira Ridge. Camp at Shira 1 (3,500m) on the vast plateau.

Day 3 :

Shira 1 – Shira 2 Camp

Day 4 :

Shira 2 – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp
